The other day I had a patient come in and had an issue with a tooth, and it was broken down. They were kind of asking a lot of questions around and determining whether or not they wanted to go forward with dental implant treatment. Some people were asking them, “Well, are you going to need a bone graft?” and all these things. Sometimes, we have to extract a tooth and what we need to do is place some bone graft material in order to preserve the volume and the architecture of the bone, in order to stabilize that implant down the line in the future.
