2017 Halloween Candy Buyback Program

2017 Halloween Candy Buyback Program

This Halloween, Teach Dental Group will be taking your kids’ candy…and replacing it with sugar-free alternatives. Our office is a platinum partner with the thirteenth annual Halloween Candy Buyback, a program that allows dentists throughout the country to educate their young patients about the importance of dental care—without sacrificing the fun of trick-or-treating.

What is the 2017 Halloween Candy Buyback Program?

Teach Dental is especially proud to be a platinum partner with the Halloween Candy Buyback because of the program’s two-pronged, charitable approach: each piece of candy that is donated by one of our patients (and exchanged for a complimentary, sugar-free alternative) will be sent to active-duty members and veterans of the US military. As platinum sponsors, Xlear has also pledged to donate thirty toothbrushes to active duty military and veterans on our behalf.

What’s included in the goody bags?

Spry Gems Lemon Creme Mints, Spry Stronger Longer Spearmint Gum, Spry Fresh Fruit Gum, SparX Fruit, Berry, and Citrus Candies, Spry Gum and Mints, Lite&Sweet Sweetener, as well as literature and coupons that explain the incredible benefits of xylitol!

Xylitol is a white crystalline substance that looks and tastes just like sugar. It is not an artificial sweeter, but rather a natural sugar alcohol that is found naturally in various fruits and vegetables, and is even produced naturally by the human body. Xylitol has over 40 years of research, and thousands of studies backing the safety and effectiveness of the sugar alternative.

Starting today, stop into Teach Dental Group and exchange your excess Halloween candy to help those in need, all while getting candy that will keep your kids’ smiles bright and healthy.
